What do you have to do to join a Rotary Club?
The first step is attending a meeting. You can come on your own or be invited by an existing member. Prospective members are asked to attend up to 3 meetings as a guest (at no charge). During these 3 meetings the club gets to know the prospective member and the prospective member gets to check out the club. By the 3rd meeting (as a guest) the prospective member should decide whether to proceed with becoming a full and active member. This is the opportunity to either take the next step (completing a membership application) or deciding that you will not proceed. There is no obligation to join and no charge to attend those first 3 meetings. After that the prospective member is expected to complete an application and join, or stop attending the meetings.
